Projects - NASA Rocket Park
NASA Johnson Space Center Rocket Park
We were honored to work at NASA’s Rocket Park which is home to one of three rockets on display in the world. From beginning to end Coopwood’s Project Management team worked to ensure the rocket area had sustainable, efficient performance and superior comfort while taking into consideration our climate as well as the thousands of patrons entering and exiting the building seven (7) days a week.
Our Special Projects division enjoys the challenge of determining an intelligent solution. When we design and install a system into an existing building our primary focus is to manage the energy consumption, leading to better indoor air quality, lower cost and improving the buildings performance.
We achieved these goals by working closely with Space Center Houston engineers and removed the existing HVAC units, installed new energy efficient units, installed new panels and sealed building properly according the NASA Johnson Space Center specifications.
